| Content | Be Free by the Truth (John 8:31-38) God is one and only. He made many spirits and these are ministering spirits (Rev 22:8-9). There is only One who is self-existing and permanent (Jn 17:3). In the same way, holiness is believing God is one and only. Heaven is full of the glory of the One and Only (Phil 2: 6-7). Jesus Christ came from the Father's bosom and the angels were created in heaven. They are God’s ministering spirits (1 Sam 16:14). As the creation is not the truth, it will someday disappear (Mt 24:35). The self-existing One alone is eternal and He is the truth (Jn 14:6). God’s Word was with Him since eternity past. He is the truth. Those who abide in His word are His disciples indeed (Jn 8:31). Likewise, knowing the truth is freedom and salvation (Jn 8:32). Those who are free throw off all defects and are justified. If He who is surely free sets you free, you are free (Jn 8:36). Baptism is the sign of those who are free (Acts 19:2-7). The Holy Spirit seals and guarantees this freedom (2 Cor 1:21-22). The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth (Jn 16:13). 〇 Because creatures can become corrupt, they are unrighteous. Since God is righteous, they follow His will. Jesus came to the world by the righteous Father’s will. 〇 If we follow Jesus’ will and belong to Him, He will justify us. As we are free and the authority of Hades cannot overcome us, we all become God’s children. 〇 Those who are free are children of the righteous One. God paid their wages by His blood, so they are forever justified. ※ Do not be deceived. Do not be deceived by human wisdom and do not rely anymore on the Law and conscience. You must be free only by the truth. |
