Content | Know God’s Will (Romans 12:1-2) God is good. He gave His Son to the world. He is the Word. God’s Word is the truth (Jn 14:6). Jesus came to the world in the flesh. This means God’s Word came. God’s Word is full of grace and truth and full of the glory of God’s Only Begotten Son. Therefore, for it to be God’s Word, it must be filled only with the glory of the Only Begotten Son. If it does not, and shows man’s righteousness and glory, it is not God’s Word. God’s Word is salvation (Jn 8:31-32). His name is Jesus. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The Holy Spirit testifies to this name (Jn 15:26). The Church stands by this name, and the saints are baptized by immersion in this name (Acts 2:37-39). God’s Will must surely be fulfilled on this earth (Mk 6:10). ○ God is good and His Word is good. He commands baptism by His good Word. We are saved by His goodness. ○ God is perfect and His Word is perfect. His Word came to the earth, did not fall, and perfectly ascended. This is God’s Will fulfilled in heaven. ○ God’s pleasure is Jesus Christ alone (Mt 3:17). If we depart from Jesus, we cannot please God at all. ※ We must discern what God’s good, pleasing and perfect Will is to have perfect faith. This is a living sacrifice. |
