I welcome you all who visit our church's Homepage.
Our church has no barriers. The chapel, which stands by the broad driveway, has no designated entrance. It is itself an entrance without blocking any doors. Therefore, anyone can play the piano in the foyer and write letters to the senior pastor on our church bulletin board. This is the model form for a New Testament era church.
In this way, our church puts emphasis on its status as
"everyone's church". We won the golden prize award at the Seoul City's
Architecture Contest in 1993. This was the first time a church had ever received such an award.
Meanwhile, in our chapel, there's the world's biggest hand written Bible. This Bible is 3m wide, 1.6m long and 0.3m thick. It weighs over 200kg and was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. We made such a great Bible to express our church's spirit. We place greater importance on the Bible than to doctrine, church law or regulations. This is the core part of the Berea Movement which we pursuit. As Bereans, we make it a point to return to the Bible and examine it humbly; This is the goal we are pursuing.
The 21st century will be the spring the of Berea Movement. Our advanced scients make it a statement to read the human gene, but it cannot transcend God's power. Berea Movement now revives Jesus' signs and wonders of 2,000 years ago, because it is the most persuasive message of salvation in our century. Be a participant of the Berea Movement. It would be a great help for us to accomplish Lord's work, if we greet the magnificent spring of Berea movement with you.
