God's Making A Covenant (Jeremiah 32:40-41) God is an honest god. Although He does not lack anything, He sent the Son to the world and let him suffer afflictions, which was meant to keep His promise (Mt 1:23). God's making numerous promises aims also at keeping them (Jn 1:14). Because the Lord's commandments are not restraints meant to oppress humans, but promises, God has all kept them. Since Jesus Christ kept God's promise upon his life and sent the Holy Spirit (Ac 1:4-5), the Spirit is the one who came according to the Father's promise (Ac 2:33). God's covenant is a blessing (Heb 9:15). Commandments, despite their strictness, were given in including blessings; thus one must not refuse them in order to have life. Our faith is not religion but God's promise. ¡Û God watches over us. Let us not doubt His covenant. He promised blessings.
¡Û The faith that God gave is His promise. If one keeps it until the end, one receives blessings.
¡Û Let us follow God's given truth. The truth is not a doctrine: it is God's promised blessing.
¡Ø He who has the covenant between God and he is he who has received blessings. Therefore, he will receive the truth and the Spirit through his working accomplishes the said task.
