Let Us Observe the Lord's Command (Jeremiah 7:23)
God is happy. Because this is what He wants to give humankind, He wants them to be happy with His happiness (Ge 12:1-2). However, the power through which God grants it is His commandments (Ps 1:1-6). Even though they are hard, since they are given in including blessings (Mk 10:30-31), he who longs for blessings follows His commandments and welcomes the God-given one (Mt 10:11-14). Because Jesus Christ is God's command, namely the truth God asks one to believe in him well. This is the commandment given together with blessings. The Holy Spirit is the one who abides in us (Jn 20:21-22) to cause us to keep God-given commandments; the working of the Spirit is truly a blessing.
¡Û The fullness of the Holy Spirit is a blessing. The Lord's command is not meant to be heard only but it must be observed, and he who observes it is good soil.
¡Û Since God's command is like a good seed, if it is sown into good soil, it will yield results and this is the real situation of blessings.
¡Û If Jesus endured all to give us blessings, the purpose was to give us afflictions as spiritual blessings.
¡Ø Let us not accumulate the command in defying it but rather obey it, and thus enjoy blessings on this earth as well as in heaven forever.
