location > home > Berea movement > Brief history > works Berea Literature Mission is the organization in charge of supplying Dr. Kim's books and othe Berea literatures for the purpose of preaching. It commenced work in 1983 as Semeon's sermon books and handwritten manuscripts came out. It has became a full-scale ministry, and has sent over 280,000 manuals and other literature into the mission field. Our main focus has been to America(7 branches of L.A, San Francisco, New York, etc.), Canada, Japan(3 branches), Philippines, Taiwan, China, Ghana, United Kingdom, Tanzania, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, India and other mission fields to promote those international missions. Also the call for Berea books and literature to Guinea, Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, Czech, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Myanmar, Austria and other nations is steadily increasing. Berea International Association, which has been actively functioning since 1994, was a part of the church's organizations and had been the international contact point for the Berea movement. From 1998, it has been supporting international missions by planning and supporting overseas meetings, overseas branch churches, inviting foreign training students, preaching to foreigners in Korea, and training missionaries. Berea International Institute, which is located in Namyangju Goon, Kyoungki Do, was opened in 1994 and has been in charge of promoting the Berea movement as an international faith movement. Their focus was on the sponsurings of seminars, publishing, support for research report and books. In the early 2000's, to strengthen our 21st century mission vision, Berea International Institute and Berea International Association was united and put into the operation.
