As we leave this 20th century and enter the 21st century Christian historians are observing two facts. First, the center of world church is moving from Western Europe and America to the Third World, according to globalization of Christianity. Second, the theology of God's kingdom is getting attention. The theological and practical interest in God's kingdom is being revived. The theology of God's reign will be the 21st century's main theology.
Historically, the past 20th century can be called 'the era of the pentecostal movement'. It started in the 20th century, but gave a most powerful influence. Now the pentecostal movement, entering into its 3rd period. It is proceeding to be 'the Third Wave', which is based on the theology of God's reign. Two main pillars of 'The Third Wave' and 'Divine Healing' and 'Demon-Expulsition'.
Peter Wagner, an erudite scholar of church growth studies, mentioned in his book 'How to Have a Healing Ministry in any Church', "Sungrak church of Seoul is one of the fast growing big churches. As this church takes root on Southern Baptist of America, generally it is excluded in statistics of pentecostal denominations or charismatic movement group. David Barrett, a Christian historian, includes this church into 'the Third Wave' movement". He, adding that he visited Sungrak church in person, mentioned that Sungrak church is known to the world church as one of world's biggest churches, which performs powerful divine healing and casts out demons regulary.
